Life Verification 2026

A verification drive was conducted across all Treasuries in Nagaland to ensure the successful registration of pensioners under the Jeevan Pramaan initiative. With the introduction of Jeevan Pramaan, almost all pensioners have registered and obtained their Digital Life Certificates (DLCs). During the drive, treasury officials were deployed on-site to assist pensioners in completing the registration process and generating their DLCs. Fingerprint sensor facilities were also made available at the Treasuries as an alternative means of biometric authentication in cases where other biometric verification methods were unsuccessful. Furthermore, video call-based verification was facilitated for pensioners who were unable to register through Jeevan Pramaan or visit the Treasuries in person for physical verification. In addition, door-to-door life verification services were provided to elderly, bedridden and ailing pensioners who were unable to visit the Treasuries due to age-related or health-related difficulties.
