Documents to be brought:
Death Certificate
Succession Certificate (issued by the District & Session Judge Court)
Bank Passbook of the nominee
Aadhar Card of the Nominee
Letter of guardianship (in case the nominee is a Minor i.e., below 18 years of age)

Yes, this is called additional quantum of pension/family pension available to old pensioner's/family pensioners has been increased as follow:

Age of pensioner/family pensioner Additional Quantum of Pension
From 80 years to less than 85 years 20% of revised basic pension/family pension
From 85 years to less than 90 years 30% of revised basic pension/family pension
From 90 years to less than 95 years 40% of revised basic pension/family pension
From 95 years to less than 100 years 50% of revised basic pension/family pension
100 years or more 100% of revised basic pension/family pension

Yes, the rates related to additional pension as applicable in the case of old pensioners hold good for family pensioners, as well.

Step 1: Write an Application to the Treasury Officer requesting for a forwarding letter to the Principal Accountant General, Nagaland.
Step 2: Along with the application provide photocopies of necessary supporting documents.
For rectification of Date of Birth, provide admit card of Class 8 or 9 or 10 (preferably Class 10 admit card) or Birth Certificate.
For rectification of Name, provide a Notarised Affidavit.
Step 3: AG will scrutinise, verify the claims and intimate the Treasury Office concerned if any changes/corrections are to be made.
